On the occasion of Fine Arts Thursday on February 7, the cycle of Meetings begins.  Informal meetings, like quick dives into the world of the studio._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_Each of the 10 artists present exhibits about two works.

Anne Ferrer, whose news is rich this summer with an exhibition at the Cyclope de Tinguely in Milly la forêt, presents the fabulous Maryline in silk and lace. This is a "Carcasse", an old series that Susanne Pagès showed in 1992 at the Musée d'Art Moderne in the form of an installation of 18 hanging pieces hooks like dans une boucherie and which will be acquired by the Salomon Foundation.

Marine Joatton a selection of works on paper, presented at her exhibition

personal in 2016 at the Museum of St Etienne. These large pastel drawings make us visit the world of childhood: hybrid characters straight out of dreams and fables. His paintings will be exhibited at the gallery, at the Espace du 29, from Thursday 23 April.

Gastineau Massamba this Congolese artist sews chaos. On loose canvases embroidered with black thread, the silhouette of marching warriors, wounded Africa, can be seen.

An exhibition is currently dedicated to Gregorio Botta at the Palazzo Nazionale in Rome “Just Measuring unconsciousness”. Gregorio Botta at the Berthet-Aittouarès gallery presents, always with a concern for a subtle interplay of transparencies, glass plates that he works with smoke and lead incision.

Also from Italy Marisa Albanese with her white ceramic figurines uniform and no less imbued with a powerful humanity. On the wall, two drawings that Marisa Albanese had shown at her personal exhibition at the Capodimonte Museum.

Vegetation or imperfect geometry? Bertrand Hugues transcends Nature, a leaf  fallen from a tree, a blade of grass, a drop of water are a precious source of a  poetic writing in black and white, silver.

In an even older technique, the ambrotype, Eric Antoine also fixed some images but on glass. Mysterious images that reveal the outcome of the story on a black and silver background.

"Olympia" no, it's not that of Edouard Manet but that of Jean Pierre Schneider. -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_black model from Manet and Matisse to today” in 2018 then a few months later at Musée de l’Esclavage ACT in Pointe à Pitre.

Twisted thread, knotted thread, stretched thread, Marc Ferroud draws space with iron wire. Its aerotectures are signs of elevation towards the sky, of tension towards the earth.
