DRAWING NOW 2024
March 21st to 24th 2024
Carreau du Temple | Paris, France
For this next edition of Drawing Now, we will be focusing on works by Pierre Tal Coat (1905-1985), an artist who has been part of the gallery's history for over 30 years.
A major figure of the 20th century, Pierre Tal Coat's work is held in numerous French and international museums. The works presented here are unpublished compositions on paper - graphite, charcoal and watercolour - dating from 1960 to 1980, and come from the private collection of his partner.
At the same time, we will be exhibiting three other artists:
Paul Iratzoquy, a young revelation, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Paris, fascinated by his native Pyrenees, which he depicts in Indian ink as spaces beyond limits.
Liliane Klapisch, born in 1933, uses gouache to draw everyday objects whose transparency and fragility evoke the randomness of an intimate interior.
And Marc Ferroud, with his precise, delicate watercolours and his famous aérotectures or drawings in space, named by the poet and art critic Alain Jouffroy.
