André Marfaing signe son premier contrat en 1957 avec la galerie Claude Bernard. Puis c’est le début d’une carrière internationale.
Vingt ans après son décès, dès 2005, la galerie Berthet-Aittouarès entreprend la représentation de son Œuvre.

Aujourd’hui, à l’occasion de la parution du catalogue raisonné de l’Œuvre d’André Marfaing, les deux galeries Claude Bernard et Berthet-Aittouarès s’associent pour une exposition qui met en lumière les différentes époques stylistiques de la création de 1950 à 1985.

La galerie Claude Bernard montrant des oeuvres des années 50 et 60 et la galerie Berthet Aittouarès des oeuvres des années 70 à 80.

Au même moment, André Marfaing est présent au Centre Georges Pompidou où trois toiles sont entrées dans la collection du musée...

Twenty years after his death, in 2005, the Berthet-Aittouarès gallery began to represent his work.

Today, to coincide with the publication of the catalogue raisonné of André Marfaing's work, the Claude Bernard and Berthet-Aittouarès galleries are joining forces for an exhibition that highlights the different stylistic periods of his creative output from 1950 to 1985.

Galerie Claude Bernard will be showing works from the 50s and 60s, and the Berthet Aittouarès gallery works from the 70s and 80s.

At the same time, André Marfaing was present at the Centre Georges Pompidou, where three paintings entered the museum's collection...
