Every year in November, PhotoSaintGermain brings together a selection of museums, cultural centers, galleries, and bookstores for a rich and eclectic photographic journey—a program offered by both the associated galleries and institutions and the festival team, through original exhibitions.
The festival is rooted in a particular geographical area, rich in history and culture, that of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and seeks to bring together and unite all the players that make up this area. The strong support of the neighborhood's stakeholders for this event, which has become a highlight of Paris Photo Month, has demonstrated the ability of galleries and institutions to unite around a medium. With the loyal support of Parisian institutions and partners, PhotoSaintGermain welcomes visitors from the Paris region, as well as photography professionals, collectors, and art lovers who enjoy visiting galleries and museums.

Echoing these exhibitions, and with a view to giving a voice to those who create and think about photography today, PhotoSaintGermain also offers an accompanying program of meetings, screenings, book signings, and studio visits, bringing together artists, public collection managers, collectors, publishers, graphic designers, booksellers, critics, and curators.
All these events are opportunities to explore the major trends in contemporary photography and examine how it is promoted and disseminated.
