| Since the Berthet-Aittouarès gallery has opened in 1986, the choices of Michèle Aittouarès and Odile Aittouarès-Inzerillo have been the ones they would have made for their personal collections. Never getting trapped in a system. No predefined idea or fixed medium. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, videos... confirmed or less experienced artists : side by side, pieces from Pierre Bonnard, Henri Michaux, Pierre Tal-Coat or Mario Giacomelli to contemporary artists like the painter Jean Pierre Schneider, the sculptor Etienne Viard, the photographer Antoine Schneck, the videographers Pascal Frament and Patrice Ferrasse. The Berthet-Aittouarès gallery has published catalogues which accompany its exhibitions. It takes part in the art fairs ArtParis and Art Elysées since their creation in 1999 and 2007 and in the events Art Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Photo Saint-Germain-des-Prés. It is a member of the professionnal comittee of art galleries. Odile Aittouarès-Inzerillo is the author of the catalogue raisonné of Emile Othon Friesz. |
